Cold-Pressed Sesame Oil 冷压精製芝麻油

Botanical Name: Sesamum indicum

Sesame oil is one of the most important oils in Ayurvedic skin care. Its high content in vitamin E makes it a very good emollient and moisturizer for dry skin care. It also contains mild UV protective properties.

芝麻油含有豐富維他命E及B1，尤其是維他命E有很多的γ~tocopherol，這是一種天然抗氧化劑，芝麻油也是製做手工皂的重要油脂之一，但是使用在做皂上的芝麻油，千萬不可以採用熱製法製造成的芝麻油(一般市售芝麻油大部份是熱製法製成的；即先將芝麻炒過再做壓榨取出來的油，此時油成琥珀色的黑芝麻油)
