Common Uses: Eucalyptus has traditionally been used to relieve muscular aches and pains when used diluted. It has also been known to relieve symptoms of colds and flu when used in steam inhalation. In traditional Chinese medicine, it is classified as a tonic for lung Qi and is used to enhance breathing function. Diffuse this oil or use in steam inhalation to loosen phlegm, and to soothe throat infections and sinus complaints.
Strength of Aroma: Strong. More penetrating compared to eucalyptus australiana.
Description: Fresh, powerful, peppery and camphoraceous aroma.
Caution: Avoid use during pregnancy and for young children under 6 years of age. Use at half strength for children between 6 to 10 years of age. Also to be avoided by people with epilepsy.
Packaging: Dark amber bottle with orifice reducer (for controlled essential oil dispensing).
