How to Use: Sandalwood is one of the oldest known perfume materials, with at least 4000 years of uninterrupted use. Traditionally used as an incense, its fragrance can induce calmness of mind.
Sandalwood has been known to have anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. It has a very fragrant woody scent that can help keep emotions and thoughts grounded. As the scent of sandalwood is relaxing, it can be blended with other essential oils for insomnia, lifting depression and stress-related complaints.
Sandalwood is composed of ~90% santalol alcohol which has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and chemopreventive properties.
